Serranos Mexican Restaurant, a beloved Austin original with deep roots in the community, approached Screamer with an intriguing challenge: develop concepts to evolve the brand while honoring its rich family history. As a cornerstone of Austin’s culinary scene, Serranos has been serving up authentic Mexican flavors for decades, and they recognized the importance of adapting to the city’s ever-changing landscape.

Our partnership began with a brand exploratory, where Screamer.Co and Serranos dove deep into the possibilities for growth. From envisioning high-end vegetarian cuisine to conceptualizing a Tasty Taco Truck to test recipes, we explored innovative avenues to meet the needs of Austin's diverse and dynamic population. Understanding the shifting demographic and their evolving gastronomic preferences was key to this process.
